Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Security Officer to join our team at Security Guard Group Limited. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will be expected to patrol the site, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service to our clients and their visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Patrol the site on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises;
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in a professional and timely manner;
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and their visitors;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents and activities;
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License;
  • Have a Standard or Emergency First Aid and CPR Certificate;
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods;
  • Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license;
  • Be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights and early mornings.
Benefits

This is a part-time casual position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $17.35 per hour. Additional pay includes bonus pay and overtime pay. Benefits include on-site parking.

Schedule

Shifts vary in length, from 8 to 12 hours, and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must have an open availability and be willing to work a variety of shifts.
