About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to work on various projects, including setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools. The ideal candidate will have excellent measurement skills, be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Our team members enjoy a dynamic work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a comprehensive benefits package, including free parking.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
  • Measuring and laying out work pieces in preparation for assembly
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
  • Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
