Estimator Opportunity

Our client, a leading General Contractor in Edmonton, AB, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing lead letters, tender documents, proposals, and project quotations. You will also be responsible for understanding contractual terms, conditions, and obligations, meeting deadlines, and working effectively under pressure without impacting quality of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in construction
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Professional, approachable, and customer-service oriented
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project)
