About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shift Supervisor. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and leading a team of employees to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and their families
  • Deal with customer concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and authorize refunds, voids, and returns
  • Hold keys, safe combinations, and access codes, and open and close the store as required
  • Supervise employees and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting sales goals and objectives
  • Operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float
  • Take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas
Requirements
  • Education, Certifications and Licenses: An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
  • Experience: In cash handling, personnel administration, visual merchandising, food and beverage preparation and service
  • Competencies: Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership
  • Language Requirements: English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
