Job Title: Infrastructure Support Technician

Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our ICT department, you will be responsible for maintaining managed security services and supporting cybersecurity practices within our Digital Shared Services environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts and customer-reported cybersecurity issues
  • Support Digital Shared Services cybersecurity incident response and vulnerability management practices
  • Ensure managed security services are deployed and operating
  • Maintain the security awareness program
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in enterprise information technology providing infrastructure support
  • Diploma in information technology from an accredited postsecondary institution
  • Vendor and industry certifications in specific technologies and functions (such as CISSP, MCSE, CCNP and ITIL) are assets
  • Valid Manitoba driver's license and use of personal motor vehicle for occasional travel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 2700x, CIS Controls, NIST CSF, and COBIT
  • Familiarity with incident response and crisis management procedures
  • Good report-writing skills, detail-oriented, with a commitment to security best practice
