Arobas Personnel is seeking a seasoned Cloud Native Python Developer to join our team and collaborate with one of our esteemed clients located in Montreal. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of remote and in-office work, with 40% of the time spent in our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain Python, Terraform, and Bash codebases across various projects.
  2. Contribute to the development and implementation of Cloud and DevSecOps tools, including model development and direct code contributions to other teams.
  3. Provide expert-level support and guidance to customers in utilizing our products.
  4. Drive innovation and creativity, bringing new ideas to the table that can be developed into features or products.
  5. Participate in Agile ceremonies to help prioritize, prepare stories, and propose new features from a product perspective.

Requirements:

  1. Proven expertise in Python and Cloud development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  2. Knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code review, source control management, and testing.
  3. Experience in cloud security, with a focus on ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data.
  4. A collaborative and autonomous mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Cloud experience, particularly in serverless architecture.
  2. Security expertise, with a focus on cloud security.
  3. Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, with experience in containerization and orchestration.
  4. Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), with a focus on automating testing and deployment.
  5. Databases and REST API experience.
