About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Ambassador Labs, a leading provider of cloud native developer experience solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge software products that accelerate the speed and collaboration of engineering teams' Kubernetes Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software components using Golang, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product features, and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Work on our local development product, integrating it with remote Kubernetes clusters to provide a seamless developer experience.
  • Contribute to the development of our commercial product, Telepresence, which accelerates speed and collaboration of engineering teams' Kubernetes Development.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure high-quality code, and adhere to our coding standards.
  • Work on improving performance, scalability, and reliability of our products.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and track work using GitHub issues and ZenHub or Notion.
About You

We are looking for a talented Software Developer who is passionate about developing products and has a strong background in networking and distributed systems. You should have a deep understanding of Kubernetes and microservices architecture, and be able to design and develop scalable, high-performance software components. You should also be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Requirements:
  • Strong background in Golang and experience with cloud native technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality results and meeting customer needs.
