Staff Lawyer Responsibilities
- Providing advice and legal representation on family matters in Supreme Court (Family Division).
- Giving legal opinions, filing documents, attending court proceedings, participating in mediation sessions, and offering expert advice to clients.
- Possibly engaging in community outreach and delivering legal education in family law and related procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) Degree.
- Practicing member in good standing of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society.
