About the Role

Pilot Pad is seeking a reliable and experienced Child Care Provider to join our team. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
  • Child Supervision: Supervise and care for children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
  • Discipline and Education: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Transportation: Take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Household Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Activities and Entertainment: Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Communication: Excellent oral communication skills are required to effectively communicate with parents and children.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in childcare is an asset.
  • Certifications: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Transportation: Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
