Job Title: Veterinary Support Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a dependable and outgoing Veterinary Support Associate to join our ER ICU Team. This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities that directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caring for patients; feeding, walking, and offering a gentle voice of assurance
  • Sure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary, and comfortable
  • Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and pet parents
  • Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services and updated medical procedures
  • Compassion and nurturing attitude
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and maintain a high quality of care in a busy environment
  • Ability to adapt in changing situations
  • Working with a team focus, assisting the veterinary staff with various procedures, tasks, and treatments
