We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic French language educator to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

About the Role:

This part-time position involves teaching French language skills to students in a small group setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spoken and written French and English, and be comfortable teaching up to a Grade 9 level.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach French language skills to students in a small group setting
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 1-8 French core curriculum
