As an Insurance Risk Manager for Canada Casualty at AXIS, you will play a crucial role in our success and growth in the Canadian market.

  • Manage a portfolio of Casualty risks and provide recommendations to stakeholders
  • Determine pricing strategies based on underwriting and competitive analysis to drive business growth
  • Support business objectives through effective underwriting and marketing strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other key partners
  • Travel to key markets as needed to expand our presence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or finance
  • Certifications like CIP or CRM are highly valued
  • At least 2 years of experience in underwriting casualty insurance
  • Strong sales and marketing skills to drive business growth
  • Knowledge of insurance principles and regulations in Canada

Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities to drive business success
  • Passion for the P&C insurance industry and its continuous evolution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to manage day-to-day tasks
