Job Summary

As a Production Supervisor at CMC Electronics, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in assembling complex printed circuits boards for avionics products used in commercial and military aircraft. Your primary goal will be to meet delivery goals set by your Manufacturing Manager while maintaining a high level of engagement within your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and analyze monthly work and equipment maintenance to meet delivery goals, and report on progress to the Manufacturing Manager and Program Manager.
  • Align your team to achieve departmental performance indicators such as reducing costs of poor quality (COPQ) and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain a work environment that is engaging, healthy, and safe for the team.
  • Ensure the recruitment, training, development, and management of your team.
  • Resolve production problems quickly and inform customer groups of delivery time impacts.
  • Support production process improvement initiatives and carry out continuous improvement projects within your department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising or coordinating a manufacturing team.
  • Fluent in French and good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Good knowledge of Production Resource Planning (MRP).
  • Experience in a unionized environment and with ISO manufacturing processes.
