We are seeking hard-working, energetic, and professional individuals to work as Collections Supervisors. The position involves supervising and coordinating daily activities of collection officers.

Job Summary

The Supervisor will report to the Department Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing work schedules and procedures.
  • Resolving work-related problems.
  • Identifying training needs.
  • Monitoring daily attendance and performance.
  • Projecting a work plan, setting expectations, and completing goals.
  • Making collections calls (optional).
  • Conducting quality assurance through call monitoring.
  • Performing file, call, and work plan audits.
  • Maintaining a supervisor's support desk.
  • Leading weekly training sessions.
  • Participating in hiring interviews.
  • Completing performance reviews and performance counseling.
  • Handling escalated calls.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or relevant fields.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically Excel.
  • Familiarity with CUBS knowledge is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 CAD, depending on location and qualifications. This figure reflects the current market rate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
