About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Cascades. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems with equipment and machinery.
  • Installation and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all maintenance work is performed to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and running efficiently.

Requirements

  • Industrial Maintenance Experience: 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Millwright Certificate (433A) required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical problems, comfortable performing PMs, and able to use a scissor lift and a forklift.
  • Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and able to work both safely and efficiently.
