We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at MINT LEAF SWEETS & RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Determine the size of food portions and costs, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets to maintain a high level of presentation.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
