Job Title: Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Southern Industrial & Truck Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude
