Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Slot Technician WD1-WDB to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our slot machines and gaming equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair slot machines and associated progressive meters on the gaming floor
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs at the circuit board level
  • Maintain and repair gaming-related units such as automated card shufflers, Cage equipment, Park and Pay, and HERMES printing machine
  • Comply with pre-determined internal controls and procedures
  • Comply with safety and security standards
  • Perform machine installations, moves, and conversions, ensuring proper documentation to comply with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Assist in lifting slot machines weighing over 200 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Familiarize yourself with design, repair, and maintenance standards for all Electronic and Slot Games
  • Troubleshoot electronic issues
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of working experience and education with a background in electronics
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Knowledge of slot operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages and ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment
  • Professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and proven team player
  • Detailed-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability and willingness to learn and keep current within the industry
  • Ability to travel regularly between Ontario sites
  • Ability to work long hours and up to six days per week
  • Ability to work on equipment and lift up to 50lbs
Work Environment

Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, some exposure to verbal abuse, non-traditional work hours.
