About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team at 10564745 CANADA INC. as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and drywall repair to ensure the facilities are well-maintained and safe for employees and visitors.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain industrial vacuum cleaners, heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to equipment and systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs as needed.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure they are following safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and contractors to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position that requires working under pressure, performing repetitive tasks, and being physically demanding. The ideal candidate will be flexible, have initiative, be organized, and reliable.
