Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate our team of food service staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.
- Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to our staff, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and ensure we have the necessary resources.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintain Records: Accurately maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Availability: Must be available for shift or on-call work, as well as the advertised start date.
- Language: Must be fluent in English.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet customer demand. You will be required to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of food and service.
