Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to operate effectively.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of our staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Calculate the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have enough stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating within our means.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
- Prepare Reports: Submit regular reports to management on the performance of our restaurant, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Language: English.
- Availability: Available for shift or on-call work.
- Relocation: Willing to relocate for this position.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have attention to detail to ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards.
