Job Title: Business Unit Controller

Job Summary:

The Business Unit Controller plays a critical role in ensuring the financial governance and controls of Keter North America's business unit are maintained. Reporting to the Finance Director, this individual will work closely with the team to complete all reporting and analytical needs of the business unit. A dotted-line relationship exists with the North American Controller to ensure that all shared service finance functions adequately support the unit's business needs and that all corporate responsibilities are met in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly/quarterly close process to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Manage cash controls, forecasting, and reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial information
  • Manage CRA and other agency audits and inquiries to ensure compliance and minimize risk
  • Manage all banking relationships and processes to ensure efficient and secure financial transactions
  • Support the Finance Director in the annual Budget process and Quarterly review process to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Prepare weekly cash reporting and forecasting to inform business decisions
  • Manage Capital Expenditure controls, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accurate financial information
  • Maintain, analyze, and reconcile the General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Quarterly Transfer Price review, analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance and minimize risk
  • Vendor and Customer data management as required to ensure accurate financial information
  • Support the central AR and AP teams as required to ensure efficient and secure financial transactions
  • Support the HR & Payroll functions as required and determine monthly provisions to ensure accurate financial information

Requirements:

  • CPA designation and at least 3 years of manufacturing industry experience
  • Indepth SAP experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proven ability to interpret data and provide meaningful analysis to senior leaders
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Action Oriented

Education and Training:

  • Post secondary education in a related field
