Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contents Technician to join our team at On Side Restoration in Halifax. As a Contents Technician, you will play a critical role in helping clients restore their personal and commercial items to their pre-disaster state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to assess and restore damaged or destroyed items
  • Pack and catalog contents from disaster-affected areas and create inventory lists
  • Use Encircle Restoration Software to track and manage restoration projects
  • Clean and restore contents and structures
  • Operate a fleet vehicle to transport items to and from the warehouse

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift, carry, and pack boxes, furniture, and other items
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
