Sales Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Buyers Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling our Local Line Sourcing Platform to restaurants, grocery stores, distributors, hotels, schools, and other wholesale food buyers. Your primary goal will be to build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
About the Role
- Manage multi-level sales processes, engaging with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful customer onboarding.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of inbound leads, supporting them from initial contact to launched customer.
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing high-quality prospects.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, ensuring up-to-date information on all deals.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and social skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and navigate complex sales environments.
- Show a keen attention to detail, with the ability to successfully manage multi-stakeholder sales processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience selling technology solutions to the hospitality or retail industries.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- A strong desire to face challenges head-on, using creativity and energy to drive customer success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and effectively.
- Strong time management and social skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and navigate complex sales environments.
- High energy levels, with a passion for making a meaningful impact in the sales process.
