Crane Operations Manager

Sterling Crane Canada is seeking a Crane & Rigging Supervisor to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. This hourly position reports to the Branch Manager and works closely with customers and employees to ensure the safe execution of day-to-day crane business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading Toolbox Talks and Safety Meetings to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Completing Operator Competency Reports and Site Observations to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Scaling, sizing, and effectively bidding jobs to meet customer needs and company goals.
- Reviewing and approving customer work methods to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Providing on-site lift supervision to ensure safe and successful crane operations.
- Supporting dispatch and sales efforts to drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Journeyman with BC Certificate of Qualification and Red Seal Endorsement for mobile crane operation is preferred.
- Previous supervision experience is considered an asset.
- Candidates with experience in the construction market and/or crane industry will be given priority.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License; Class 1 Drivers License is considered an asset.
- Proven record of building relationships with customers and excellent communication skills.
- Self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
