About the Role

This permanent position involves developing and implementing child-care programs that cater to the needs of children aged 0-12 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment that promotes learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs aligned with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)
  • Synthesize information about each child's overall situation and communicate it effectively to parents
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and organizing outings to local attractions
  • Encourage creativity through various mediums like art, music, and physical activity
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for meal and rest periods
  • Conduct regular observations and submit written reports to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers
  • Create a safe and welcoming environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

The successful candidate can expect to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, along with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
