We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Close To Home Grocery & Deli. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale
- Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
- Grind meats and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Prepare special orders and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail meat cutting environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
