Job Title: Body Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Supervisor to join our team at Isherwood Body and Fender Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Body Shop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our body shop, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to motivate and train a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of technicians, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Prepare and submit reports on shop performance, including productivity and quality metrics.
  • Establish and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Train and develop technicians in their job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a body shop or related field.
  • College diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and train a team of technicians.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
