Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and autonomous PhD student to assist with the organization and planning of the Orientation Week activities for the Institute of the Environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize discussion panels and contact panelists
  • Book rooms and prepare/review orientation documents
  • Organize hikes and transportation
  • Plan Introduction meetings with IE professors
  • Plan a Happy Hour
  • Perform other pertinent tasks related to the event

Requirements:

PhD student enrolled in the Environmental Sustainability program with excellent organization skills and ability to work independently.

Additional Information:

All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory training offered by the University.
