Job Overview
ROSS, a pioneer in Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Recruitment Augmentation, and People Strategies, is seeking a highly skilled Director of Technology. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the technology team, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of current technology trends, and providing infrastructure support to staff. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, working in branding, advertising, or marketing firms, and handling software development lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the technology team in delivering innovative solutions with expertise.
2. Collaborate proactively with the account team and communicate regularly with managers on updates and status.
3. Assist in complicated presentation preparation and coordinate project schedules with the technology team to prioritize workload and team utilization.
4. Develop strategic roadmaps and plans for tools and web development that meet business goals.
5. Lead brainstorming sessions, analyze and improve the overall development process, and supervise the IT infrastructure for internal and external solutions.
6. Mentor, coach, and train senior and entry-level software developers and interns.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8-10 years of related work experience in software development; 3-5 years in IT infrastructure management.
- Experience working for a branding, advertising, or marketing firm in a similar role where you led teams to develop multiple concurrent projects for external clients.
- Hands-on experience with Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE), PHP, XML, XSL, DOM, SAX, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Apache, Tomcat, Microsoft Windows Server Operating System, TCP/IP, and Project Management Software.

Benefits and Travel Information
- Ability to travel internationally about 20% of the time.
- This position is located in downtown Toronto.

Salary
$80K to $110K + bonus.
