Job Summary:
John Abbott College is seeking a qualified individual to teach Psychology and/or Social Science Research Methods courses to students enrolled in pre-university and/or professional programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Psychology and/or Social Science Research Methods courses to students at the post-secondary level
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Collaborate with departmental team members to achieve common objectives
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
Requirements:
- Master's or equivalent degree in Psychology or a related field
- Knowledge of Quantitative and Research Methods in the Social Sciences
- Several years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Excellent English communication skills
- Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in a post-secondary setting
- Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to work in a team environment
