Job Summary:

The Bookkeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and providing technical advice to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of 3-4 bookkeepers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:

The Bookkeeping Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Language:

The language of work is English or French.

Work Hours:

The work hours are 35 hours per week.
