Role Overview

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Horizon Health Network in Saint John, New Brunswick. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a collaborative environment and an interest in women's health and low-risk obstetrics.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including immigrant and refugee patients, and to contribute to the provision of safe and quality patient care. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional care and is committed to building a cohesive and supportive work environment.

About the Role

This position involves providing family-centered primary care, including routine health and illness care, prescribing treatment, and referring patients to other healthcare professionals as needed. Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in low-risk prenatal and obstetrical care, including patient-centered contraceptive planning, antenatal care, and post-partum care.

The ideal candidate will possess a Medical Degree from a recognized medical school and postgraduate studies in Family Medicine. They will also hold a CFPC designation and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick. Bilingual skills would be considered an asset.

This position offers Fee-for-Service remuneration, with on-call remuneration provided.
