Job Title: Fitness Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Director to lead our fitness programs and team at LA Fitness Canada. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to educating and motivating members to achieve their fitness goals, and a passion for creating an engaging environment that promotes health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement fitness programs that meet the diverse needs of our clientele, including group classes, personal training, and wellness workshops.
  2. Lead and manage a team of personal trainers, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality fitness experiences.
  3. Communicate effectively with members to understand their fitness goals and provide tailored advice and support to help them achieve success.
  4. Educate staff and clients on best practices in fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness, promoting a culture of health and wellness within our community.
  5. Monitor the performance of fitness programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and results to ensure continuous improvement.
  6. Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all members, promoting engagement and a sense of community within our fitness programs.
  7. Manage scheduling for personal training sessions efficiently, utilizing effective time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience in a fitness or wellness environment, with a strong track record of success in developing and implementing fitness programs.
  • Background in customer service and sales, with a focus on member satisfaction and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to educate others on fitness techniques, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices, with a passion for promoting health and wellness within our community.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively.
