Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Fitness Director to lead our fitness programs and team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to educating and motivating members to achieve their fitness goals. As the Fitness Director, you will be responsible for creating an engaging environment that promotes health and wellness while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, sell and oversee fitness programs that meet the needs of our diverse clientele.
  2. Lead and manage a team of personal trainers, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training.
  3. Communicate effectively with members to understand their fitness goals and provide tailored advice.
  4. Educate staff and clients on best practices in fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness.
  5. Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
  6. Monitor the performance of fitness programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and results.
  7. Foster a welcoming atmosphere for all members, promoting inclusivity and engagement.
  8. Manage scheduling for personal training sessions efficiently using time management skills.

Experience

  1. Proven leadership experience in a fitness or wellness environment is essential.
  2. Background in customer service and sales with a focus on member satisfaction is highly valued.
  3. Ability to educate others on fitness techniques, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  4. Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
  5. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as we aim to serve our community better.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $41,000.00 per year
