Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Training and Development to join our team at St. Louis Bar & Grill. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that drive operational excellence and enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for operational franchisee, manager, and hourly staff members.
- Training Team Management: Lead a team of Corporate Operations Trainers and provide guidance and support to ensure successful program implementation.
- Training Platform Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of our training and communication platform to ensure seamless communication with restaurant teams.
- Training Materials Development: Create effective training materials, including job aids, training tools, and seminars, to enhance restaurant skills and knowledge.
- Training Needs Analysis: Identify training and development needs through analysis and gather regular feedback from key stakeholders.
- Learning Management System: Implement and sustain a Learning Management System that delivers and tracks training initiatives and programs.
- Culture Development: Design, implement, and sustain tools and processes that drive the St. Louis culture of training and operations excellence.
- Menu Updates and Launches: Coordinate all menu updates and launches, including editing training material to adhere to menu food and beverage specifications.
- Departmental Support: Support other departments, including operations, menu, marketing, and IT, by providing training and expertise.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience leading a hospitality training team within a franchise company.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in a related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent organization and time management skills, experience using MS Office and training platforms, and strong writing and language skills.
- Personal Qualities: Adaptable, energetic, and self-starting team player with a courteous and professional demeanor.
