Job Title: Associate Director, Research

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our Research team at Control Risks. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex investigative projects, leading a team of researchers, and developing business development strategies to drive growth in the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute investigative projects, utilizing proprietary databases, online public records, and open sources to deliver high-quality results to clients.
  • Lead a team of researchers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities in the Canadian market.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to identify and pursue new business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the team's expertise and capabilities are aligned with client needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the corporate intelligence industry, with a strong background in investigative research and business development.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian public records, media and litigation databases, and online search tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
