About the Role

We are seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our Design team at Info-Tech Research Group in Toronto. As a key member of our UX team, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for interaction projects and visualize a shared understanding of the needs of leadership, product, and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating research into informative and supportive interaction designs and data visualizations, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, content strategists, product managers, and leadership on design projects.
  • Familiarity with UX design principles and processes in an agile, product-driven environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in user experience, including a portfolio highlighting your projects and contributions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in UX, HCI, design, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of UX and design principles, as well as practical experience applying knowledge in research, taxonomy, interaction, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present work in a logical and clear manner.
  • Familiarity with typography, design tools, and wireframing software.
  • A strong understanding of different research methods and how to apply learnings to design.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
