The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced pub environment. They will possess excellent leadership skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Manage kitchen operations to meet business objectives and targets.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.
