Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Worker to join our team at GILL CONSTRUCTION GROUP INC. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, including loading and transporting materials, mixing and pouring concrete, and assisting in framing houses and erecting walls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure accurate site preparation.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to create smooth surfaces.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job to develop necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • English language proficiency is required for communication with colleagues and supervisors.
