CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Learning Experience Designer/Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, fully accessible, and engaging learning experiences that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Consult, scope, recommend, design, and develop high-quality, fully accessible, and multi-approach blended learning and performance solutions that support complex, agile, and transformational learning projects.
  • Learning Needs Analysis: Support comprehensive learning needs analyses for complex, transformational projects to enable the most innovative design and delivery of detailed learning recommendations, ensuring learning and performance objectives are met.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage best-in-class common practices, processes, and measures across the design/development function, providing deep subject matter expertise in learning and performance consulting, including knowledge of external best practices and emerging trends.
  • Project Delivery: Support a highly complex learning project to deliver timely, high-quality, consistent, creative, and leading-edge learning solutions that positively impact business and metrics.
  • Accessibility and Inclusion: Ensure learning solutions align to the company's brand, learner accessibility, and principles of diversity and inclusion, leveraging established standards and guidelines and achieving success criteria while managing scope, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communication: Ability to synthesize, simplify, and communicate complex information and theoretical concepts while applying clear language principles.
  • Design Thought Leadership: Provide design thought leadership and/or industry knowledge and participate in knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Adept at interacting with diverse groups of internal partners at all levels.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience as an Instructional Designer/Developer.
  • Education: Educational background in Instructional Design.
  • Design Skills: Advanced design skills in creating high-quality, fully accessible learning deliverables in all modalities (i.e., instructor-led, eLearning storyboard, self-led learning).
  • Technical Skills: Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint & Word) and experience designing virtual materials for delivery in Adobe Connect.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile Environment: Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Financial Industry Experience: Instructional Design experience supporting the financial industry on highly complex, transformational projects.
  • Adult Learning Certificate: Adult Learning Certificate.
  • Product Scrum Owner: Product scrum owner.
