L&D Designer/Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled L&D Designer/Developer to join our team at CB Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and development, with experience in creating high-quality, fully accessible learning deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with stakeholders to understand learning needs and objectives
  • Design and develop comprehensive learning solutions, including instructor-led training, eLearning, and virtual materials
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure learning solutions are accurate and effective
  • Develop and maintain learning content, including text, images, and multimedia elements
  • Ensure learning solutions are accessible and compliant with company standards
  • Provide design thought leadership and participate in knowledge transfer within the team
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer/Developer
  • Advanced design skills in creating high-quality, fully accessible learning deliverables
  • Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint & Word) and Adobe Connect
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Instructional Design experience supporting the financial industry
  • Adult Learning Certificate
