About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Grocery Store Cashier to join our team at Pag-asa Grocery Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and sweeping floors
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales targets and achieving productivity goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales objectives and promote a positive store culture
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
