Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Senior Construction Manager to lead our project teams and ensure successful project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet project deadlines and budget requirements
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Read blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure accurate project execution
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Prepare reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve project goals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction management, preferably in a senior role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with MS Office and other construction software
  • Bondable and basic security clearance
