At Shell Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage our store's finances.
  • Order merchandise and ensure our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure our team is working efficiently.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our workers, providing guidance and support when needed.

As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for resolving issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages. You will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining our store's inventory, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
