Job Title: Butcher - Retail or Wholesale

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale to join our team at Paramount BBQ Restaurant Ltd. in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meats, poultry, and seafood for processing or cutting.
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
  • Wrap and package prepared meats, poultry, and seafood.
  • Remove bones from meat, poultry, and seafood.
  • Cut poultry into parts and clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
  • Cut fish into steaks and fillets.
  • Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers.
  • Train meat cutters and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Manual cutting utensil experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and physically demanding.
  • Hand-eye coordination.
