Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Nando's. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Inspection: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of the business.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment to ensure that the kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to ensure that they are clean and safe for staff and customers.

  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of the job, including food preparation, kitchen inspection and staff training.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities.
