Job Title: Senior Risk Advisor

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk Advisor to join our team at NFP. As a key member of our Complex Risk Solutions Group, you will be responsible for leading our team of executive risk advisors in protecting individuals and organizations from material exposures.

With a strong background in risk management and a proven track record of success, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, designing solutions, training colleagues, and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain coverage that is in the client's best interests.

You will also lead the development and implementation of our service model in the management, cyber, and professional lines segment, and manage a cross-Canada portfolio of renewal business pertaining to management lines for key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the National MCPL Practice in designing and building out a Canada-wide management, cyber, and professional lines group and service model.
  • Manage a cross-Canada portfolio of renewal business pertaining to management lines for key accounts.
  • Liaise with NFP producers and client teams across Canada to deliver subject matter expertise and risk-transfer solutions to clients.
  • Create high-quality market submissions and negotiate insurance programs with underwriters.
  • Train and advise junior MCPL staff, NFP producers, and client advocates on MCPL product lines and wordings.
  • Actively participate in internal training initiatives and continuing education.
  • Network and represent NFP at industry-wide events.

Requirements:

  • Proven technical competency and creativity in developing and delivering innovative property and casualty solutions.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products.
  • Driven, focused, and able to set personal ego aside to achieve client and corporate goals.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
