Food Service Team Lead

ONTARIO INC. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food safety standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Dependability, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
