About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Fitter to join our team at Max Fire Pro Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have experience in installing sprinkler systems, including pipe installation, fitting, and testing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing sprinkler heads and mounting prepared pipe in supports
  • Selecting, measuring, cutting, reaming, and threading pipe
  • Connecting piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
  • Installing clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment
  • Installing valves, alarms, and associated equipment
  • Joining pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Supervising other workers
  • Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required shape and size
  • Testing systems for leaks using testing equipment
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

Work site environment includes at heights, wet/damp, and noisy conditions.

Work setting includes various locations, commercial, industrial, and residential areas.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience

Team player reliability and quick learner are essential qualities for this role.

Transportation to work site may be required.

This is a permanent position with a work term of permanent.

Work language is English.
